What do you think of these swimsuits?
Another question got me actually looking at swim suits,,,now I would like to know your opinions on these. I am a plus sized girl (size 14-16) and always thought the idea of a "swim dress" was supper granny-ish,...but I think some of these are actually sort of cute! What do you think? And which ones in specific do you think are cuter than the others? Or do you have any other kind of suit in mind htat you think would look cute on me? Thanks!Click Here
Thanks, scorpio. I don't mind it really, I just want to look good, I'm sure you know what I mean...
Question #3:
Could I model? Please, it's my dream.?
Hi everyone. I was wondering if I'm the right size to model. Modeling has always been my dream, but I'm just not sure.I'm a girl, I'm 5'9", and my measurements are 34-27-37. Could I be a swimsuit model? Runway model? Plus-size model? Glamor model? Fitness model? Lingerie model? Anything?
I'm 35 pounds, btw. And I'm not asking about what my face looks like, I'm asking fir your opinion based on my weight and stuff.

Question #4:
Where can I get a cheap Retro swimsuit like this one?
Im going to myrtle beach soon and I really need to find a retro swimsuit like this...Click Here
Im not skinny so if you could help me, look for it, also in plus size. or XL?? Thanks SOO much!!!!
Question #5:
Where can I find a supportive under-wire swimsuit? Plus, bonus question!?
I have a problem with swimsuits - they don't *cough* hold me up. So I'm going to need something with under-wire. It's got to be really supportive, and come in some large sizes (38 DDD to be exact). It cannot be a one piece because the bottom would then be too big. I'll have able to buy the top and bottom separately I'd like to not spend a ton of money on this too. $100 is WAY too much.I hope you'll be able to help me!
Bonus question:
Can you find me a bra too? 38 DDD, really supportive. It needs to stay down in the middle. That's one of the main problems I have with bras, they come up in the middle and made a point on my chest. I need it to stay down touching my chest. I'm a teenager, and I need it to do this even when I'm running around with my friends, playing Twister, whatever I want to do. I don't want to have to worry about it.
Thank you for your answers to both my questions!
Question #6:
I can't find a swimsuit that fits me, what should i do?
I'm not plus size, and I'm only 17 years old and I have double d breast. I can't find swimsuit tops that fit me. I considered plus size tops, there all tankinis. I don't like that. Any idea/suggestions?Question #7:
Best swimsuit type for a small girl?
In general I am a pretty small girl. I stand 4'11" and weigh less than a 100 lbs. I'm not a curvy girl; I am definitely pretty skinny. However, in the past year or so my body's changed in sort of a weird way. I now "have" boobs, but I didn't get much of anything else. Going shopping for a new swimsuit is sort of discouraging as I can't figure out what style would complement me best.I am a 32C bra size, 33" in the hips, and I have absolutely no butt lol. The bottoms are the real problem as they normally sag quite a bit in the backside. Everyone usually suggests a string bikini, but I would like something that's a bit different and fun for summer. Plus, I'm not convinced I look that good in them lol. Any suggestions for best types of tops? Bottoms? I'm even open to different types of one piece, if you think that would work.
Question #8:
Difference between plus size and regular size swimwear? (SIZES)?
Basically, in trying to shop for swimsuits (Speedo) -- is there a difference between a plus-size "20" and a regular-size "20?"i.e., is there a separate sizing chart for plus sizes, or do regular size "20" - "24" just count as "plus sizes?"
Question #9:
swimsuits for curvy women?
i'm not fat, but let's just say i've been blessed in more ways than one hahah.. the majority of places i look for swimsuits, they assume that you're a fatass just because you have curves, so they make the swimsuits where they cover up everything.. basically, from your breasts to halfway down your thigh, there's a big piece of material blockin the view! not only do i have a problem with finding swimsuits that don't cover everything, i have trouble finding swimsuits that even fit at ALL. i've even looked in the maternity and plus size sections of stores, but all of the tops look like they'd fit a b-c cup at MAX, which is ridiculous! please help me find a swimsuit! online stores are fine, but i'd really prefer a store that i could find somewhere in the mall, so i can get one asap! thanks in advance! <3Question #10:
Since when is a size six fat?!?
Okay so im a size 6 swimsuit.. i know im not fat, i just feel chubby... Should I lose weight? An add came up on my computer for Plus sized women (size 6-36) I guess thats where this is coming from!Question #11:
Where can I find a bikini swimsuit?
I need a swimsuit that can cover me. I'm not plus size, but I have size 34 D chest, and I need to find a swimsuit top I can feel comfortable in. And by comfortable, I mean not falling out of. I've tried VictoriasSecret.com, but all of their swimsuits are back ordered until August. Could you please help with some websites? There aren't any stores in my town that would give coverage without being plus sized in the band. Thank you!And I forgot to mention I am really cheap. So the less expensive the better. ;)
Question #12:
one piece swimsuits for long torsos?
so, I'm a 14 year old girl, and as we know it's summer. I need a one piece swimsuit but I have an extremely long torso. I rather skinny and have pretty much no chest. The only swimsuits I can find are two piece swimsuits. I have a bikini currently, but I feel uncomfortable wearing it because I look so tall and skinny. (so skinny that I've ben called anorexic. I'm not, but that's just an idea of how I look. I'm a size 00) plus I am completely flat (I don't wear a bra sometimes; and if I do I wear a training bra or a cami) I look like a very tall (I'm 5' 6.5") elementary school student. So, can you help me find a swimsuit that you think will look good on me? Please keep the price under $25. I don't really care about thecolor, but I look awful in pink, orange and yellow because I am very pale and have very light blonde hair. Thanks!Question #13:
Swimsuit for Apple shape body.. Help!?
I have an apple shape body. 36 D bra size and size 16 pants. I have nice legs, but a bit of a belly and big love handles. I need a couple new swimsuits. I'd like a one piece or a long tankini. I'm only 21 so nothing old womanish. I'd like to spend less than $100 on each. Here are some I was thinking of...Click Here

Question #14:
Doesn't this article on "slimming" swimsuits pisses you off (if you are a woman of size)?
Click HereI mean... look at the models and mannequin. Can they be slimmed a little more?
Why don't they use plus size models or the average american woman? Are they scared of some cellulite and some womanly curves??
Miss Demezia...lol, really like the part about their own pantyhose!
Kanga: really? they are curvy??
Please. Maybe you shouldn't work out like a crazy every day to lose 10 pounds. Just eat a lil less, take a walk, and who cares if you have 5-10 pounds left too many (who said that?)/
Ann: so basically it's ok for ads to lie so explicitly? Yes marketing is dreaming, but that's a joke, almost an insult. Like showing a body builder young guy body in an ad for older guys selling them a miracle pill..
Also curvier women will actually look good in those swimsuits, so why not show them? They are scared of what's not phony and glossy.
Question #15:
Where can I find a cute swimsuit that will fit my size 34H breast?
Okay I am having a very hard time finding a swimsuit that will fit my size chest. They always send me to the plus sizes and I'm not a plus size. I wear a size 5 pants. Please help me, please please please!!!Question #16:
Good idea or bad idea to get breast implants? (34AA)?
I've gone to stores to get clothing or bras and have had sales people asks me why I don't get implants because of my inability to find a bra that is small enough. It's really hard to also find swimsuits without the cups in them. I'm a 34 AA although hubby says I'm a triple A. I can't wear certain dresses with the bust shape. I tried the girls department which had no cups in the bras but they were to small to go around my chest. I was never able to nurse any of my kids because I was to small. A nurse tried to help me and I told her that I never could because I was so flat and she said size did not matter. Then when she attempted to help me she realized that my flat chest really was a problem and understood why I wasn't able to nurse any of my kids and they never could latch on and stay on. I'm done having kids because of a hysterectomy so I don't have a uterus, cervix, and am very flat. Cancer is also big in my family so I'm not even sure if it would be a good idea healthwise or not. I also have had a few surgeries on my neck and back so the added weight may actually hurt me.Would it be a good idea or bad idea to get implants? If not is there anything I can do to wear prettier things?
Would insurance would cover them or would I have to pay out of pocket for them?
Would they sag as I got older because if so I would not even bother. Is late 30's to old to get them? If I did not get them then I don't have anything to be saggy.
I would only get implants so that I can easily find nice things to wear and would like to get some sexy bras if they carried my size. Other than that I only see a couple good reasons to be flat so that I do not have to wear bras which can be hot and miserable in the heat and I would not sag. Plus hubby always makes comments after he sees someone with implants as if he does not like them and is o.k. with me the way I am. Again I would only consider implants to make it easier to find clothes that look good on me.
highnlow why do you feel you must put me down? Does Jesus like the way you have treated me saying I'm not a Christian calling me a hypocrite? The Bible says that we all fall short and sin and if you can't forgive me for asking this how can you expect God to forgive you for your sins? No one is perfect and that's the reason we need Jesus. There are people called convenient Christians too and if you yell at others because of a sin they did then you are the one that needs to forgive them and treat others as you want them to treat you. I was just asking the question because I wanted to see what type of responses I would get. I don't have enough money anyway to get implants but was looking for ideas to make it easier to find clothing. Personally I don't want them but others have been pushing me to get them.
Great answers from everyone. Kathryn the link you gave me even mentions a Bible verse! "HOWEVER, it is easy to see Song of Solomon clearly places breasts on the same level as other body parts, such as the teeth, neck, and hair."
Thank you. We all visit the dentist and have our teeth fixed or salon to have our hair done and like me I had my neck fixed to try and get me out of pain. I don't want to risk another surgery as I've had to many and did not realize that implants may need to be replaced.
Question #17:
What is a good swimsuit for my size?
I am a little plus size, (after losing about 20 pounds :-)). I wanted to know what shape i am and what swimsuit would be best for me. My measurements are:Waist: 37.5 inches

Question #18:
What to wear with this swimsuit top?
If I buy the tankini top from this picture, what bottoms do I wear?Click Here
I want something that comes down to mid-thigh, but I don't want a skirt. It needs to look flattering on me, and I am a plus sized 13 year old. It has to go with the style of the top. I prefer it to have no pattern so the top and bottom don't clash. Please give a picture or link.
Thank you!
Question #19:
Will they force me to pay?!?
okay, so i wanted this cute bathing suite on ebay, and it was for $19.99 plus $2.50 shipping. i thought it was for teenagers, so im like hey, why not.
