swimsuits for curvy women?

i'm not fat, but let's just say i've been blessed in more ways than one hahah.. the majority of places i look for swimsuits, they assume that you're a fatass just because you have curves, so they make the swimsuits where they cover up everything.. basically, from your breasts to halfway down your thigh, there's a big piece of material blockin the view! not only do i have a problem with finding swimsuits that don't cover everything, i have trouble finding swimsuits that even fit at ALL. i've even looked in the maternity and plus size sections of stores, but all of the tops look like they'd fit a b-c cup at MAX, which is ridiculous! please help me find a swimsuit! online stores are fine, but i'd really prefer a store that i could find somewhere in the mall, so i can get one asap! thanks in advance! <3

Ann: so basically it's ok for ads to lie so explicitly? Yes marketing is dreaming, but that's a joke, almost an insult. Like showing a body builder young guy body in an ad for older guys selling them a miracle pill..
Also curvier women will actually look good in those swimsuits, so why not show them? They are scared of what's not phony and glossy.

Ok so I'm not fat, and I'm not skinny either. My chest size is in the XXL range while the rest of my body can be a size M to L. I don't feel comfortable in a 2 piece (at least not yet, anyway), and all the one piece swimsuits I've seen are for older women. I'm 24 and obviously I still want to look trendy. Any sites? Thanks!

where can I find lingerie for a top heavy woman?

I have a very hard time finding things that fit me properly, whether is be clothing or under wear or swimsuits. I am 4' 11" and 115lbs. My waist size is 26inches but I wear a 36DD bra and that was just the way God made me. Every time i search for large bust clothing items I get directed to plus size apparel sites. I'm not fat I just have huge hooters. Please help, I want to wear nice things that don't fit like potato sacks.

I'm a 36 J in American sizes, 36 GG in British sizes, and buying clothes is difficult because either I can't fit my chest into a shirt or dress or I have to buy a plus-size shirt or dress that hangs off my chest very unattractively. Don't even get me started on swimsuits. Any suggestions?

to don't believe: Who says weight loss is an "improvement". Not me .My opinion isn't always true for everyone, but I'm sure it's not always false.

I don't want to try and buy one online. The other day I went swimsuit shopping and everything I tried on left me hanging out in every direction. It was wondering if I was mistakenly trying on the juniors suits, but I was not. Can anyone recommend a place? I am not plus sized so those stores won't really help.

Okay, here's the deal. I am trying desperately to find a swimsuit that fits me. I had worn a suit that is too small for me this summer and ordered a new one last week.
I like the regular hip hugger bottoms (even though I think my thighs are too big), but because I have stretch marks I prefer tankini tops. Here's the issue: I'm not fat, I'm just top heavy haha (34D). So the tankini that I bought online arrived yesterday, when I tried it on, the XL top I had bought was odd fitting in the bust area (like I was about to fall out) and was huuuuge in the stomach area (meant for a larger woman)!
I figured I would return it and was looking online for another one. Every website I go to (victoria's secret, land's end, etc etc) the tankinis are either for plus size women or are wayyy to low cut (push up). I don't need to flaunt my bust, it does that on its own. :)
I need help. For sure. Any suggestions would be much appreciated on where to find one that will fit me, particular styles, etc.

What are some places to get nice, well-cut plus-size clothing?

I've put on some weight and while I'm working on losing it, I have a cruise coming up in a month. Other than Lane Bryant or Avenues, what are some stores or online sites that sell nice, classy clothes and swimsuits for size 14 and up? I've tried just buying clothes in larger sizes, but it seems like a lot of places make the clothes for a size 6 and when it gets to a large size, it just doesn't fit right.
Also, does anyone have recommendations for swimsuits that are good for "excessively curvy" women? I'm not huge, the curves are all over, and I'd like some type that reduced the bust and hides the "muffin top".

It just isn't right.....There are just a few selections, not to mention there aren't any swimsuits! Do they expect women to all be slim here?
